Decision made! We chose to celebrate our Wedding Day Party at our Friends Castle Sommeregg. Back to the roots, where Gerwin started his first summer-vacation-job to hand out flyers for the medieval knight games. Later on, he switched to become “DJ-BOBO-Commando” as well known as the sound engineer and musical director for the play Frank wrote on his own. Yet the best play ever made!

Sommeregg is a medieval Castle located in Seeboden, near to Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia, Austria. Situated on the foot of the Nockberge the Fortress served as an administrative seatheld by the Counts of Ortenburg and Celje. If you want to read more of the history of the Castle, please visit www.sommeregg.at (German) or find it on Wikipedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burg_Sommeregg).
Lucky us, marry in August, so the medieval knight games are ongoing and you will have the possibility to watch them as well as spend some time in the medieval market area to see jugglers, artists, try some special drinks or just chill in the area. Another “funny” activity we can share is the famous “torture museum” in the tower. If you are not afraid of bloody puppets and brutal machines, we are happy to invite you to the entry ticket.
Our welcome Champagne, as well as small snacks, will be served between 2 pm and 3 pm on the south faced terrace. The exact time will be fixed later on, as soon as we know the exact time of the main ceremony.
